ABOUT PHILIP KARMANOV

Philip Karmanov (2004) is a Dutch Classical Pianist currently residing in Amsterdam. He has found success in many concert venues in the Netherlands as well as abroad, and is widely regarded as a promising up-and-coming young talent of Dutch origin.

Philip Karmanov was born in 2004 into a Dutch-Russian family in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Despite his parents not being musicians, he started taking piano lessons at the age of six. In 2017, he enrolled at the Academie Muzikaal Talent in Utrecht with Prof. Marjès Benoist, and since 2022 he has been studying with Prof. Frank van de Laar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
